Back the Blue Luncheons Underway

On April 30, the RWCC sponsored its first Back the Blue event, delivering 40 lunches from Spork to the Cecil County Sheriff's Office.  We purchased sandwiches and wraps from Spork, and Spork donated chips as well as cakes and pies for dessert. Thank you toall those who contributed time or money to this cause.  A special thanks goes to Delegate Mike Griffith for his generous sponsorship of this event.

Because of the generous donations of our members and other county citizens, we will be able to provide lunch for all law enforcement agencies in the county, and had a second event at the Sheriff's Office on May 7 to reach another shift of law enforcement officers (LEOs).  

We are planning other dates to reach other law enforcement agencies in the county, including May 18 and June 2.  If you are interestd in helping out with one of these events, please email RWCCGroup2018@gmail.com.  We are also continuing to accept thank you notes for LEOs.  Our goal is to provide a thank you note along with a lunch to every LEO in the county.
